Comanche is available in two license types: as an Enterprise license and as an ASP license.
Enterprise license
An Enterprise license for Comanche 3.1 server (1 CPU, effectively max. 300 concurrent active editors) costs €30.000,-. Besides this license, you will need a database (preferably Oracle), a SilverStream J2EE server license and a web server.
Sensys ICT B.V. offers you a one-stop-shopping solution: this includes a Comanche 1 CPU license, a dedicated SilverStream Application Server license, an Oracle database license, a Dell PowerEdge Pentium Business Server and implementation services (including assistance in the creation of templates and a user training). The total investments add up to approximately €87.500,- depending on the required services and the number of users that need to be trained. Since no customer is equal, Sensys always offers a tailored proposal.
Additional adaptations to the application are optional. If you prefer to

outsource the maintenance (for instance if the required specific SilverStream and Database Admini-stration knowledge is not available within your organization), Sensys is pleased to offer you a Remote Maintenance and Support contract. Please contact your Sensys account manager for additional information.
ASP license
If your organization prefers to outsource IT maintenance, or does not publish enough to justify the investments in a dedicated solution, consider our ASP model! ASP stands for Application Service Providing; 'software as service'. The license is based on a monthly fee for the use of the Comanche functionality. The actual server remains physically on the Sensys premises, and all licenses for SilverStream, Oracle etc. are owned by Sensys ICT B.V. - all you have to do is direct your browser to the Comanche server, login and maintain your site.
The initial setup includes the creation of a set of templates and a user instruction. After that, you pay per page, per user or per site:

- Pay-per-page: a user is entitled to publish 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 pages per month (see table below for details),
- Pay-per-user: a user may publish an unlimited amount of pages per month (€1000,- monthly fee),
- Pay-per-site: unlimited pages / users (€5000,- monthly fee),
- Pay-per-server: dedicated
server (€7250,- monthly fee).
Contrary to all other ASP solutions, a dedicated server can optionally be placed in your own Network Operating Center, while being fully maintained by Sensys engineers through remote control.
